Green Tea is produced from the same tea plants as black tea. The difference between black teas and green teas lie in the production. Green Teas are unlike black teas in the fact that they are not fermented so retaining a lot of the valuable substances that make them so healthy for us to drink. In China and Japan green tea is very much a staple drink and is very popular. In the West the facts about the benefits of Green Tea drinking are spreading and so we are seeing a real increase in demand.
