Rooibos Tea contains NO caffeine and only a small amount of tranic acid. Rooibos is a Herbal Tea / Tisane. Mainly grown in the Western Cape Province of South Africa. After picking the leaves are oxidised which produces the redish brown colour of leaf. You can also get green rooibos which is unoxidised, but due to the increased processing needed it is more expensive and less popular. Red Tea has a natural sweet flavour with a fruity note. A rich ruby appearance in the cup.
