| | CHINA LAPSANG SOUCHONG Ref: 94 Our Smoky Chinese favorite ! Interestingly when plucking Lapsang you don't pick the new growths of two leaves and a bud but instead pluck the more mature, riper, larger leaves from the lower parts of the tea bushes. After fermentation the leaves are put on hot iron pans and roasted for a short time, and then the tea is smoked over exotic woods rich in resin. The smoking time is determined for each type separately. The types are Lapsang Souchong, Tarry Lapsang Souchong and Lapsang Souchong Crocodile. Our Lapsang is has a lovely large black greyish leaf with a sharp note of smoke. Traditional smoky spicy flavour.
