Description

Formosa Oolong Toppest is a famous top grade tea from Taiwan. This high grown loose leaf tea from Formosa gives the resemblance of orange blossom with a wild aroma and smooth taste. A loose leaf tea which is picked when the leaves are very young when the buds are just unfurling and are still downy white. After Plucking the loose leaf teas are fermented to approximately 50% and then wilted in the sun. Frequent turning of the tea in bamboo baskets during the drying process allows the Oolong to develop a mild aroma and large wild curly leaves. This Loose Leaf Tea is a real treasure.

Brewing instructions: Brew for 2 - 3 minutes with water just off boiling (80 - 90 degrees).

A lovely, delicate Tea - my only regret being that I tend these days to fall asleep (I get up to make my morning tea at c. 4:30, taking it back up with me) and end up drinking it tepid.
