Description

Summer Black Tea is a bright and colourful blend reminiscent of summer cocktails on hot, balmy holidays. It boasts delicate yet delightful notes of sweet and ripe tropical fruits. While perfect as a cooling Iced Tea, it makes for an equally delicious warm brew in winter.

No matter the time of year, you’ll want to buy it from The Kent and Sussex Tea and Coffee Company, where everything is packed fresh to order.

Ingredients in Summer Black Tea

Those wishing to embrace our Summer Tea will almost certainly want to know its ingredients. This infusion includes the finest China Black Tea as the base component.

We then add Rose Petals, Marigold Petals, Safflower Petals, Cornflowers and all-natural flavouring. Such a combination is a match made in heaven. It’s time now to show you how to make Summer Black Tea at home.

How to Make Summer Black Tea

  1. Add five grams of Summer Loose Leaf Black Tea to a Tea Filter or Infuser.

  2. Place the Tea-filled accessory in a cup or mug of your choice.

  3. Begin brewing by pouring in freshly boiled water at 100°C.

  4. Allow it to steep for 3-5 minutes.

How to Serve: Consider honey, lemon or a sprig of Peppermint Tea. Alternatively, serve black.

Tasting Notes: Imparts notes of lychee and mango with a hint of banana.

Is Summer Black Tea Good for You

Is Summer Black Tea good for you? Absolutely! Take the Rose Petals within Summer Tea, which, according to Napoleon, could treat musket wounds on the battlefield. Today, we instead use them for their abundance of immune system-boosting Vitamin C.

There is also scientific evidence indicating that these beneficial petals can promote weight loss, alleviate menstrual discomfort, and reduce stress.

Meanwhile, Black Tea has been studied extensively in recent years. According to a 2015 review from the Journal of Clinical Nutrition, it decreases “bad” LDL cholesterol. Furthermore, according to a 2021 clinical trial, its frequent consumption might help prevent strokes.

Better still is preliminary research pointing to it improving digestion, treating inflammation, and maintaining the skin’s vitality.
