Welcome to Amble, a town and seaport situated on the North Sea coast of Northumberland, England. This quaint, relatively quiet area lies at the mouth of the River Coquet, with nearby Coquet Island occasionally visible from its beaches and harbour.

From across these waters, one can glimpse varieties of nesting seabirds from puffins to rare Roseate tern. Yet when lunch comes around, there is nothing quite like having an Afternoon Tea in Amble. Why not find out for yourself today?

Historical evidence indicates that present-day Amble was once the site of ancient burials. However, the area remained relatively undeveloped until the midst of the Industrial Revolution during the 19th century.

It was around this period that a number of collieries opened nearby, bringing about significant expansion to Amble. Although the local coal industry has since diminished, the town nevertheless remains an excellent place for an indulgent bite to eat.

As such, stopping in an Afternoon Tea Amble venue makes for the perfect ‘middle’ to a great day out.
