Bletchley was but a relative unknown until the arrival of the London and North Western Railway in 1845. Following its construction, the town grew rapidly.

By World War II, the importance of the area couldn’t be overstated. It was here, of course, that Alan Turing and his colleagues cracked the German Enigma code. The park is now home to The National Museum of Computing.

On your next trip here, be sure to soak up the town’s fascinating history. Taking some time out to wander down the high street is also worth consideration. Once you’ve worked up an appetite, stopping in an Afternoon Tea Bletchley venue is an excellent choice.
