Welcome to West Malling, an ancient market town in the Tonbridge and Malling district of Kent, England. The area lies some 35 miles from central London, and has since become a popular commuter location.
There is plenty to do here, including an Afternoon Tea in West Malling. Forget London – the cake and scones always taste better in the country!
Sorry, we do not currently have any places for afternoon tea in this region. If you would like to submit your business to be listed in this area please Fill out our listing form here.
History fans would be hard-pressed to find a better place to visit. Nearby is St Leonard’s Tower, a Norman era keep built by Bishop Gundulf. West Malling also had its own airfield during the Second World War.
At one stage, RAF West Malling hosted Wing Commander Guy Gibson, V.C., leader of The Dambusters. In 1967, The Beatles’ Magical Mystery Tour was filmed around this area.
Interestingly, the town is reputed to be the site of the first recorded cricket match in Kent. What could be more quintessentially English than that? Well, there is, of course, the option of visiting an Afternoon Tea West Malling establishment. There is nothing quite like sipping your cuppa while watching the hustle and bustle of this beautiful and quaint area.
