Historically, Frimley was once owned by Chertsey Abbey from 763 to 1537. Interestingly, it didn’t appear in the Domesday Book of 1088, but is shown on the map as “Fremely”.

Centuries later, the town became a popular coach stop, which brought about significant development. Now, this settlement has much to offer visitors from far and wide.

Before or after exploring the high street, it’s certainly worth spending time at an Afternoon Tea Frimley venue.
