Burgess Hill is a town situated in West Sussex, England. The area lies close to the border with East Sussex, on the edge of the South Downs National Park.
It is the fourth most populous parish in the county (behind Crawley, Worthing and Horsham). Also nearby are the towns of Haywards Heath and Lewes. People visit for many reasons, including to have an Afternoon Tea in Burgess Hill.

Little activity took place in this area until the Elizabethan era. During this period, a settlement was established that would later become this much-loved town. By the early 17th century, Burgess Hill boasted a flourishing manufacturing industry.
This included the production of bricks and tiles. The arrival of the London and Brighton Railway brought about further expansion of the community. Today, visiting an Afternoon Tea Burgess Hill establishment is an excellent choice.
