French Breakfast Tea Superior
For the sophisticated French palate we have created a special blend of highest quality loose leaf black teas. The Assam estate tea we use is a Fine Tippy Golden Flowery Orange Pekoe Special production with plenty of golden tips and a very fine Keemun Mao Feng. A beautiful looking leaf with a great tasting liquor with chocolatey and spicy notes.
The leaf is a mix of many types of tea, so looks quite unique. It has a lovely dark tone and quite a large leaf.
To brew this tea, use a heaped teaspoon per cup and pop it into a teapot. With fresh boiling water, pour over the leaves and cover. Leave to infuse for about 3 minutes. If you prefer stronger tea, leave for up to 5 minutes. But you must make sure not to leave it for too long as it will become bitter quite quickly if it is over brewed.
The liquid is a nice golden colour and smells lovely. The smell is a little like the taste, subtle and smokey. It is quite mild, but would make a very lovely tea for breakfast!
