Description

It is widely known as 'sparrows tongue' for its small, sharp, pointed leaf which is a vibrant, bright green in appearance. The term 'Woojeon' literally translates to 'before it rains' as this second flush green tea is picked before the rainy season.

Type of Tea- First Flush Loose Green Tea.

Origin - Jejudo Island, Korea.

Altitude - Between 75 and 200 meters above sea level.

Leaf Grade- Flowery Orange Pekoe Tea.

Brewing Guide - Brew with water at 75-80 degrees and infuse for 2-3 minutes.

How to Serve - Best served as it is or with the addition of lemon.

Tasting Notes - The aroma that is produced when brewed is a satisfying buttery popped corn and has a grassy, clean taste with lingering nutty notes.

Colour in Cup - A pale, clear jade liquor

Storage- Airtight container away from direct sunlight and strong smells.
