Description

Are you looking to try our flagship Tea? You won't be disappointed. Pluckley Tea is a strong, bright infusion made from a blend of Assam and Kenya Black Teas. For 25 years, the Smith family have proudly made this beverage. Indeed, it is part of who we are as a company.

But what makes it so special? For starters, we use only the finest quality Tea leaves in the making of Pluckley Tea. Furthermore, we pack everything fresh to order here in our Pluckley-based factory, a village nestled within the captivating vistas of the Kentish countryside. Nevertheless, it can offer much, much more. Find out how today.

What is Pluckley Tea?

Pluckley Tea plays a vital role in the founding of The Kent and Sussex Tea and Coffee Company. Owner Mr Richard Smith first created the blend after returning from India in the 1970s. He began operating from his home in Pluckley, the most haunted village in England.

The first customer to enjoy this Tea was the local Pluckley shop. With the help of his mother and co-owner, Mrs Janet Smith, as well as a few others, Richard hand-packed Tea from chests of ten-thousand into packages of either 40 or 80 Tea Bags.

Since those early days, the system of making this Tea has changed dramatically. The product, however, has not. In 1982, Richard and Janet established The Kent and Sussex Tea and Coffee Company in Pivington Mill, Pluckley. Together, they made Pluckley Tea the extremely popular beverage we know and love today.

  8. This Tea was fantastic, I have decided to use this tea as my day to day tea. The website was very easy to use, for someone like myself who never really does much online shopping so thats really helpful. Supermarkets don't offer this quality type tea and thank god I found you.
