Ceylon Dimbula Tea is a type of Ceylon Tea (also called Sri Lanka Tea) available at The Kent and Sussex Tea and Coffee Company. The name derives from the district of the same name, where the Tea leaves grow, and workers harvest and process them.
Ceylon Dimbula Black Tea is, unquestionably, the most common variety. These we pack fresh to order here at our Kent-based factory.
About Dimbula Tea Estates
The Dimbula Tea region is located between two high plateaus in the Central Province, with a valley lying at its heart. Altitudes are between 1,000 and 1,500 metres above sea level.
Estates found in the area, which date back to the 19th century, produce high-grown Tea as a result. These plantations were often started by British colonial planters but have since changed hands to Sri Lankan entrepreneurs.

Dimbula Tea estates in Sri Lanka provide habitats for elephants by the thousands and deer and sambhur by the tens of thousands, while eagles soar above the landscape.
