Description

Gingerbread Green Tea is a Flavoured Green Tea. The blend includes Orange Peel, Almond Pieces, Star Anise, Cardamom, Cloves, Cinnamon, Pink Peppercorns, Rose Petals and Apricot Kernels.

While its warming, spicy, and citrusy flavour might have a distinct Christmas feel, it makes for a delightful infusion no matter the time of year. Discover for yourself when you buy Green Tea Gingerbread here.

Gingerbread Green Tea Ingredients

Several ingredients found in our Gingerbread Flavoured Green Tea deserve recognition. Rose Petals, for example, were once used by Napoleon to treat musket wounds. Meanwhile, according to ancient Indian Ayurvedic medicine, Cardamom can balance the mind, body and soul. Then there is Star Anise, which has long been a staple of society and culture in India, China, Japan and Vietnam.

Finally, Green Tea derives from the Camellia sinensis (Tea) plant, the same place as Black, White and Oolong Tea. The difference between each type happens at the factory, whereby Green Tea undergoes only a minimal amount of processing.

This means that it retains much of its natural chemical structure and, when brewed, has a unique grassy flavour. But does Gingerbread Green Tea have caffeine?

Does Gingerbread Green Tea Have Caffeine?

Whether you need an early morning pick-me-up or a late evening boost, caffeine is the answer. It is a stimulating chemical compound found in at least sixty plants, including Camellia sinensis.

The specific amount of Gingerbread Green Tea caffeine content is about 30-mg per serving. Consider it, then, a gentle start to your day, enabling you to maintain concentration when you need it most.

Benefits of Gingerbread Green Tea

It turns out that the nutrients within your cuppa contribute to Gingerbread Green Tea benefits. Among them are Vitamins A, B, C, and D, alongside Epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG), Iron, Magnesium, Phosphorus, Potassium and Zinc.

Such constituents combine to combat free radicals in the body and, as a result, reduce the risk of developing numerous chronic conditions. And that’s just the beginning!

Gingerbread Green Tea Weight Loss

One 2017 study found that Cinnamon activated thermogenesis, creating heat and promoting the burning of calories. Another study, conducted in 2006, demonstrated that participants lost 0.7% of fat mass and gained 1.1% of muscle mass after consuming Cinnamon daily over twelve weeks.

Similar conclusions have been drawn with Cardamom, which has been established to reduce waist circumference.

  1. Delicious and spicy, very Christmassy but I would say could drink any time of year!

  2. The peppercorns give it a warming kick but to me it doesn't taste like gingerbread at all. Very disappointed as I hoped it would taste similar to the Whittards Halloween tea.

  3. Tastes lovely and warming but not very gingerbready in my opinion. Could maybe do with a bit more ginger and sweetness and less spices
