Ceylon Alton Estate Tea BOP is a Ceylon Black Tea that is carefully and traditionally made at the famous Alton Tea Estate; the ‘BOP’, which is ‘Broken Orange Pekoe’, designates the finely cut tea leaves which contribute to each infusion having a richer and stronger flavour.
This excellent tea produces a pleasant dark brew with a full body and is suitable to be drunk all during the year, no matter if it’s a cold winter morning or a sunny summer afternoon.

Located in the stunning Maskeliya area of Nuwara Eliya, Sri Lanka, the Alton Tea Estate is a clear example of the country’s extensive tea-growing tradition. At the centre of the estate is its modern tea factory, where traditional methods are combined with innovative techniques. This plant processes about 2,400 kilograms of top-quality tea each day.
