Ceylon Tea Dimbula Broken Orange Pekoe (BOP)
Dimbula is the first district that planted Tea in Sri Lanka, planted when their coffee crops failed in 1870, it is the most famous District in Sri Lanka. Grown at 5000 ft Above sea level, the Tea is light and bright in colour, with a crisp and string flavour that leaves the mouth feeling fresh and clean. Today Dimbula, now forms the high grown zone of central Sri Lanka. The harvests are destined for high quality Teas and are best between January- March. Best Brewed with boiling water for 3-5 minutes, served with either milk or lemon.
