Description
This Ceylon Tea Selection allows you to try the best Sri Lanka has to offer. It is an excellent choice for casual drinkers and connoisseurs alike, indeed going above and beyond to impress all those who buy it.
The options are Ceylon Orange Pekoe Nuwara Eliya, Ceylon Greenlands Organic FBOP, Ceylon Tea Lovers Leap, Ceylon Sylvakandy Orange Pekoe Tea and Ceylon Ratnapura Special FOP.
Each one has something unique to offer. Nevertheless, they all come with around 45-mg of caffeine per 8-oz cup, which will undoubtedly provide an extra energy boost first thing in the morning.
Then there is the fact we pack them, like almost all of our products, fresh to order. Ultimately, if you can’t decide on just one Ceylon Loose Tea, why not try five with our Ceylon Tea Selection?
Ceylon Orange Pekoe Nuwara Eliya
This is an especially brilliant brew for beginners. It grows in the rugged and mountainous Nuwara Eliya District, which has the highest elevations of any Tea-producing area on the island.
Expect a distinct woody aroma and flavour with indulgent sweet notes - a true delight to the senses.
Ceylon Greenlands Organic FBOP
The Greenlands Estate, from where we get this Tea, finds itself in the Uva Province of Sri Lanka. Uva lies relatively close to Nuwara Eliya, as well as the equally renowned Kandy District.
It is one of the most remote regions of the country, thus making this particular beverage relatively rare.
Ceylon Tea Lovers Leap
Here we have another Nuwara Eliya Ceylon Tea, one grown at altitudes between 6,500 and 9,000 feet above sea level.
The unique climatic conditions of the region also play a significant role in its quality and charm. When brewed, it imparts alluringly floral notes and a refreshing aftertaste.
Ceylon Sylvakandy Orange Pekoe Tea
The Sylvakandy Estate finds itself in Matale District, Central Province, at elevations between 500 and 1,000 feet above sea level.
It experiences heavy and consistent rainfall (over 110 inches per annum due to monsoons), while also boasting rich, fertile soil. It’s perhaps no surprise, then, that this infusion is as traditional as they come.
Ceylon Ratnapura Special FOP
If you’re looking for something a little different, you’ve chosen well here. The name says it all: Ceylon Ratnapura Special FOP is very special indeed.
It comes from the Ratnapura District of Sabaragamuwa Province, consisting of quintessentially “Ceylonese” notes and delicate spicy hints.

Tea was excellent, still going through the selection, which was a great idea for trying a number of different teas of the same type.

I never realised that one type of tea could taste so different and there were 3 out of 5 that I particularly enjoyed.

Disappointed more with myself than the tea as I found it all rather bland. I am sure that is the style of tea not a quality issue.
