Darjeeling 1st Flush Tea Gopaldhara FTFOP1 2016
Gopaldhara is based near the Mirik Valley, on the North Eastern slopes of Rongbong Valley at 5500- 7200 feet above sea level, making it the highest tea plantation in Darjeeling and the second highest in the world. The climate allows harvest to be later then other estates which give the leaves a delicateness to the taste.
Type of Tea- Orthodox Indian Black Tea.
Origin- Mirik Valley, Darjeeling, India.
Altitude- 5500- 7200 feet above sea level.
Leaf Grade- Fine Tippy Golden Flowery Orange Pekoe - Grade 1

Brewing Guide- Use water at 80 degree and Infuse for 3-5 minutes.
How to Serve- Best to served as it is.
Tasting Notes- This tea has a full flavour is sweet, soft ripe peaches and apricots.
Colour in Cup- A bright yellow liquor.
History- Known for their clonal tea bushes, and originally planted in 1881. The estate was planted on lush green paddy fields belonging to Gopal. These paddy field were inter-spread with natural streams called 'Dharas'. The combination of the two gave the estate its name.
