This is a very rare and special tea, this season has been to an extra high quality that we have really enjoyed! Coming from one of the highest situated estates in Darjeeling, it is a particular section of the Gopaldhara estate that Wonder Tea is grown. A rare and large leaf with lots of tip, a well rounded, sweet first flush.
Type of Tea- Oolong Indian Black Tea.
Origin- Darjeeling, India.
Altitude- 7200 feet above sea level.
Leaf Grade- Fine Tippy Golden Flowery Orange Pekoe - Grade 1
Harvest- April 2016
Brewing Guide- Use water at 80 degree and Infuse for 3-5 minutes.
How to Serve- Best to served as it is.
Tasting Notes- Floral and fruity notes with hints of melon and peaches.
Colour in Cup- Bright and golden liquor.
History- The Gopaldhara estate has adapted their methods of production that made the Wulong tea famous. The Whole leaves undergo prolonged withering and partial oxidization, about 35%- Just that that of Wulong Tea. As ther highest etate in Darjeeling, the climate at high altitude allows a later harvest then other first flushes and also gives Gopaldhara tea and more delicate taste.
