Darjeeling 1st Flush Tea Namring Upper FTFOP1 2016

The Namring Tea Estate is slip into Upper and Lower divisions and compromises of three gardens; Poomong, Jingian and Namring. This estate uses a combination of tea bushes; a China, clonal and Assam hybrid, which makes this a rare and exquisite tea!

Type of Tea- Orthodox Indian Black Tea.

Origin- Eastern Darjeeling, India.

Altitude- 5500 Feet above sea level

Leaf Grade- Fine Tippy Golden Flowery Orange Pekoe - Grade 1

Harvest- April 2016

Brewing Guide- Use water at 80 degree and Infuse for 3-5 minutes.

How to Serve- Best to served as it is.

Tasting Notes- A bright, floral and nutty notes with delicate tropical fruit hints.

Colour in Cup- A golden liquor.

History- Dating back to 1855 where the Darjeeling Company was established, the name Namring means “bamboo bush”. An hours drive away from Darjeeling itself, it produces 1200 metirc tonnes of fresh green leaves annually.

Pack sizes available- 50g, 125g, 250g, 500g, 1 Kilo. ( We pack everything fresh to order, nothing is off the shelf ! ). We pack all our teas in a unique material which combines card and foil, regarded as the best for retaining freshness and quality. Storage- Airtight container away from strong scents.
