Darjeeling 1st Flush Orange Valley 2016
Situated at the top of the Blue Mountain near the town Darjeeling, within close vicinity to the Kanchenjunga Mountain range with is surrounded by Orange Trees. This tea estate produces some of the finest and most unique flavoured Darjeelings. With a dark green twisted leaf and a little tip, this season is bursting with creamy, nutty notes.
Type of Tea- Orthodox Indian Black Tea.
Origin- Darjeeling, India.
Altitude- 5000 and 6000 Feet above sea level.
Leaf Grade- Fine Tippy Golden Flowery Orange Pekoe - Grade 1
Harvest- April 2016
Brewing Guide- Use water at 80 degree and Infuse for 3-5 minutes.
How to Serve- Best to served as it is.
Tasting Notes- Cashew type nutty notes and a delicate fruity finish.
Colour in Cup- Bright golden yellow liquor.
History- Based over 347.26 Hectarces and with an annual production of 1,10,00kg of tea a year, this plantation was originally planted by the British. It is East facing, based on hilled slopes and is in close proximity to the Kanchenjunga Mountain range which is surrounded by orange trees. Famous for their first flush and muscatel second flush.
