Description

Darjeeling Badamtam FTGFOP1 Organic Tea is a mid-season flush Tea grown in the fertile Lebong Valley. The area lies in west Darjeeling, a district in West Bengal known for producing some of the most sought-after infusions in the world.

The Badamtam Estate, in particular, is a remarkably prestigious establishment known for its exceptional-quality Tea. Darjeeling Badamtam FTGFOP1 Organic Tea is, of course, no exception.

In fact, it goes above and beyond to entice the palate with its traditional muscatel character and fruity undertones. We pack it fresh to order here at our Kent-based factory.

Darjeeling Tea and History

This particular beverage is but one of dozens of choices to come from the beautiful, iconic Darjeeling region. Famously known as the “Champagne of Tea”, every infusion to originate from this area has something unique, indeed extraordinary, to offer.

Since the mid-19th century, Darjeeling has cultivated a thriving Tea industry known and loved around the world. It first came about after a Scotsman, Robert Fortune, smuggled Tea bushes from China and started planting them throughout the district.

Today, there are 87 gardens spread over 17,500 hectares, employing 52,000 workers every year. The Badamtam Estate is one of the oldest and most popular plantations.

Organic Darjellings

The term “Organic” refers to the way agricultural products are made without using pesticides, insecticides, bio-engineered genes or petroleum/sewage-based fertilisers. Every Organic Tea, including Darjeeling Badamtam FTGFOP1 Organic Tea, is certified by the regulatory body within the producing country. It is then checked and certified again as it enters the European Union (EU).

The EU regulations on organic products are robust and uniform across Europe. Each container of Tea is checked and sampled, and if it fails inspection, the container is resealed and returned to the country of origin.

The fact that you can buy Darjeeling Badamtam FTGFOP1 Organic Tea from us ensures not only quality but also consistency. Why not try it today?
