Description

The tea growing district of Darjeeling lies in the foothills of the Himalayas in Northern India. Above the town of Darjeeling is Tiger Hill and at dawn you see the fantastic spectacle of Kanchenjunga and the high Himalayan mountain range. Tea has been grown in Darjeeling since the 1840's and are re known for producing some of the world's finest teas commonly referred to as The Champagne of Teas. The first pickings of the season are the First Flush Teas and these are the very best teas of the highest quality.

Brewing instructions: We recommend brewing with fresh boiling water and infuse for 2 to 3 minutes.

Darjeeling Tea Selection: Himalayan Blend, Monteviot BOP, Darjeeling Autumnal, Darjeeling 1st Flush and Darjeeling Tea Gielle First Flush FTGFOP

  4. Very good but I thought Darjeeling was supposed to be brewed in 80 degree water or so not boiling.

  8. This selection was a very good way to try several different teas. The Himalayan blend was not to our taste, but the others certainly are - and making the choice of which one to make our regular pot will be difficult!
