Heritage Hard Water Tea

This blend of strong black teas has been mixed for your local tap water. Living in hard water areas can affect the taste of tea and the water, ensuring that you get a proper cup of tea.

Type of Tea- Loose Black Tea Blend.

Origin- Assam, India and Kenyan and Rwandan Teas.

Leaf Grade- Broken Orange Pekoe.

Brewing Guide- Using boiling water, brew for 2-3 minutes depending on tast.

How to Serve- This tea is best served with milk.

Tasting Notes- This a deep and comforting cup of tea, with strong malty Assam and bright African Teas. This is best drank with milk to take the edge off.

Colour in Cup- A deep copper liquor.

Pack sizes available-50g, 125g, 250g, 500g, 1 Kilo. (We pack everything fresh to order, nothing is off the shelf!) We pack all our teas in a unique material which combines card and foil, regarded as the best for retaining freshness and quality.

Storage- In an airtight container away from strong scents.

Health Benefits- The phenolic compounds in Assam tea have antioxidant properties and function to reduce the damage of reactive oxygen and nitrogen species on your cells. This means Assam tea may be responsible for reducing the risk of cancer, though further research is needed to confirm this.
