While Peach and Apple Fruit Tisane is a new invention, one made in the last few years, the history of Fruit Tisanes, as a whole, dates back many hundreds of years. Fruit and Herbal Teas saw a dramatic increase in popularity during the 18th Century, particularly in Colonial America.
Boston Tea Party and Fruit Tisanes
The 1773 Boston Tea party played a significant role in the rise of tisane-drinking as it saw disgruntled colonists, then-British subjects, dress up as Native Americans and dump hundreds of chests of Green Tea in the Boston Harbour in protest of high Tea taxes.
This was one of the sparks that led to the American Revolutionary War (1775-1783), during which time British blockades surrounding the soon-to-be-United States of America led to a Tea shortage. The answer was simple: brew up ingredients readily available across America.
Herbal and Fruit Tisane Teas, for a while, became known as “Freedom Teas”. Today, however, we worry less about starting revolutions with our Tea-drinking and more about their taste. And for that reason, Peach and Apple Fruit Tisane will never disappoint.

Benefits of Peach and Apple Fruit Tisane
It is a common misconception that Fruit Tisanes cannot offer health benefits. More the case that one has to read between the lines.
For example, a Fruit Tisane such as Peach and Apple Fruit Tisane has fewer calories than a sugary soft drink, making it an excellent alternative. Every time you have a craving for something sweet, why not consider brewing up a cup of this Tea to satisfy the needs of the palate?
Sometimes, it’s as simple as that. But there’s more. A recent study has found that chronic stress disrupts our sleep and our blood sugar levels, which in turn leads to increased hunger and comfort eating. Eventually, this can lead to even higher levels of stress and even more disrupted blood sugars.
Not only might this cause unhealthy levels of body fat, but also an increased risk of Type II Diabetes! The solution to this is simple: stop, then brew up a cup of Peach and Apple Fruit Tisane. It might even help with weight management!
