Description

Pure Arabica Espresso Roast Coffee is made with 100% Arabica beans, offering an intricate balance of flavours from all over the world combining to create a beverage that is 100% delicious. “Pure” is not just a name, after all. It refers to the fact that our Pure Arabica Espresso Roast Coffee is nothing but the finest, the best, and the most scrumptious arabica beans from Brazil, from Colombia, from Ethiopia, and from Papua New Guinea.

Any barista would be proud to work with this Coffee, as would anyone who tries it. Hints of malty sweetness and notes of toasted almonds are some of its defining characteristics, as well as its bright, fruity, mild acidity. It is also worth noting that all of our Coffees are roasted using the latest state-of-the-art Neuhaus Neotec fluidised air-bed system, which primarily uses convection heat transfer to roast the beans. Ultimately, this ensures both quality and consistency, with our Pure Arabica Espresso Roast Coffee being no exception.

But why choose Arabica beans over Robusta beans? For many, the reason is quality. Arabica beans derive from the Coffea arabica species of the Coffea plant. It is often an older, more mature type of bean and is arguably considered to be of better quality than a robusta bean. Brewed arabica beans have characteristically heavy aromas with smoother tastes and less caffeine (1.5% caffeine content) compared to robusta beans.

The differences in chemical make up do not stop at caffeine, however, as arabica beans also contain 60% more lipids and almost twice the amount of natural sugars than robusta beans do. The arabica bean itself, meanwhile, is long in appearance with a more curved central cut. It takes ten months to ripen before being ready for harvest. On the market, Arabica coffee beans fetch a much higher price than Robusta coffee beans owing to their supposed superior quality. They are in high demand everywhere, but particularly in high-end coffee houses and cafes, as well as right here at The Kent and Sussex Tea and Coffee Company.

Spanning three continents - South America, Africa and Oceania - our Pure Arabica Espresso Roast Coffee is a combination of some of the best Coffees in the world from some of the best Coffee-growing regions in the world. In our humble opinion, it is these qualities that make our Pure Arabica Espresso Roast Coffee, most fittingly, one of the best Coffees in the world! However, that’s for you to decide.

Origin: Brazil, Ethiopia, Colombia and Papua New Guinea.
