Brewing instructions

This Rooibos Chai Tea Blend is a powerful combination of Tea and rich Masala Spices. Historically every Indian family would have its own secret recipe for Chai Tea, passed down through the generations with the Grand Mothers guarding the detail of the spice mix. Traditionally the tea, spices, milk, sugar and water go into the saucepan and are cooked up for an hour or two. Drinking this Spicy Tea is the ideal accompaniment to eating Indian Bhajia snacks.

The Rooibos Tea in this blend is a relaxing and soothing caffeine free infusion. Masala in Hindi means a mixture of spices, either ground for food or whole for making a tea infusion. Different Types of Tea are used to make Spicy Tea including Black Teas, Green Teas and Oolong Teas. The Tea and the Spice in this blend create a chai infusion with a lovely sense of balance, creating the perfect Chi.
