Description

Sweet Osmanthus Tea Guangxi Guihua (also known as Guangxi Guihua Tea) is a Flavoured Green Tea. We scent it using fresh, delicate Osmanthus Blossoms, which come from eastern Asia. This makes for a match made in heaven, creating a slightly sweet, fragrant flavour with a lovely aroma.

It is the perfect choice for a mid-afternoon cuppa, although you’ll undoubtedly love it whenever.

If you’re wondering, “does Sweet Osmanthus Tea Guangxi Guihua contain caffeine?,” the answer is “yes.” This stimulating chemical compound, as most will know already, provides an energy boost once consumed. Specifically, this beverage has around 30-mg per 8-oz cup.

Its best quality, however, is the fact that we pack it fresh to order here at our Kent-based factory.

More About this Flavoured Green Tea

The base ingredient for this blend is, of course, Green Tea, the leaves of which come from the Camellia sinensis (Tea) plant. This is the same as Black, White and Oolong. The difference between each type happens at the factory, whereby Green Tea only undergoes a minimal amount of processing.

Its lack of oxidation, in particular, ensures that it mostly retains its natural chemical structure and character.

Then there are the Osmanthus Blossoms included. These come from a genus of about 30 species of flowering plants in the Oleaceae family.

The plant itself consists of evergreen leaves with serrated or coarsely toothed margins, while the flowers are 1cm long, white and have four-lobed tubular-based petals. Perhaps most noteworthy is the alluring scent they produce.

Combine these two components and you have our Sweet Osmanthus Tea Guangxi Guihua - a true delight to the senses. It might come with health benefits, too, according to the latest scientific research (more on that below).

Whatever your reason for choosing it, no matter what you’re hoping for from your morning cuppa, you’ve found it here with us. Buy it and try it today.

Sweet Osmanthus Green Tea Guangxi Guihua Benefits

This wholesome beverage contains L-theanine, an amino acid capable of reducing anxiety while promoting sleep. It functions by increasing the body’s production of Gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA), serotonin and dopamine.

GABA, in particular, plays an essential role in behaviour, cognition and the body’s response to stress.

Serotonin and dopamine also have a similar effect, regulating emotions, mood and concentration. According to research published in the Journal of Nutrition & Intermediary Metabolism, L-theanine reduced anxiety in 104 participants experiencing stressful situations.

Another study shows that it can increase relaxation without causing drowsiness.
