What to Expect from this Blend
This is a scented Tea that the Chinese call “Meigui Hongcha”. It is created by laying Rose Petals over China Black Tea during the production period. Meanwhile, Rose Petals, as a standalone component, have a long and renowned history with love and lust.
According to legend, Cleopatra (69-30 BCE) considered them an aphrodisiac, demanding the floor to be covered in them ahead of a visit from Mark Antony.
Far less romantic but equally fascinating is the fact that, centuries later, Napoleon recommended Rose Petals for treating musket wounds on the battlefield. Nowadays, of course, you’re better off giving a bouquet of Red Roses to a partner on Valentine’s Day.
Alternatively, you could treat them to a cup of Valentine's Black Tea Love Potion Blend. Nothing could be more alluring than that.
- Add five grams of Loose Tea to a Tea Filter or Infuser.
- Place the Tea-filled accessory in a cup or mug of your choice.
- Begin brewing by pouring in freshly boiled water at 100°C.
- Allow it to steep for 3-5 minutes.
How to Serve: Ideally served without additions.
