Some of the first records of Marlow, then known as “Mere Lafan” in Old English, date back to 1015. Much of its development over the centuries has been due to its proximity to the River Thames. By 1227, the area had its own market, although this lapsed before the 1600s.

Today, the town has become popular for its handful of wonderful Afternoon Tea Marlow establishments. If this is to your taste, you’re in for a treat. Why not find out for yourself today? You won’t be disappointed!
