We offer an extensive range of Finest Quality Teas, Coffees and Ancillary products. We are completely dedicated to supplying our customers with first class service and products. Making A Purchase

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

We accept credit card payment or PayPal payments. We accept Visa, Mastercard and debit cards ( We don't accept American Express ). You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, snail mail or over the internet. These payments are taken securely online via moto live secure terminal.

The confirmation of order message you receive is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, inadvertently under-priced goods, or are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change in price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable. Both tea and coffee are crops and availability can vary through the year.

Shipping and Handling: Important Notice

All orders are handpacked to order so you have the freshest product possible. For our private customers postage is charged at the prevailing Royal Mail postage rate. UK customers have the option of having the goods sent by 1st and 2nd Class.

For our Wholesale customers buying from our Retailers Wholesale Range or our Catering Wholesale range, the goods are normally sent by our courier service for most UK addresses (exceptions apply). Our courier charge is £ 7.50p. We will notify you if an exception applies (e.g Highlands, different Islands and Northern Ireland).

International orders (packed in 2kg parcels) will be sent by the Royal Mail's Airmail Service.

POST OPTIONS

UK 1st Class Royal Mail deliveries. Up to 20kg

UK 2nd Class Royal Mail deliveries. Up to 2 Kg Maximum.

UK Standard Parcel Mail for UK deliveries. Up to 20kg Maximum.

UK Courier Delivery with Yodel.

INTERNATIONAL Royal Mail Airmail. Maximum 2kg per parcel. 4kg Maximum

EUROPE STANDARD Royal Mail Airmail. Maximum 2kg per parcel. 10Kg Maximum per order (e.g 10kg would be sent in 5 parcels)

EUROPE WITH TRACKING International Signed For. Each parcel up to 2kg costs an extra £ 5.90 p. 10Kg Maximum per order. (e.g 10kg would be sent in 5 parcels)

Orders received that are over the maximum weight will receive a shipping quote where possible.

For non UK orders shipped we do not hold responsibility for items lost / missing in the post and not delivered. All parcels have a return delivery address and orders can be resent once the parcel is returned to us.

Delivery Schedule

All our teas and coffees are packed to order and we aim to dispatch within 2 / 3 business days ( 3 / 5 days during peak periods ) , and then please allow time for the chosen postal option.Occasionally we may be awaiting a new roast of coffee or shipment of tea in which case we would notify you if we expected a slight delay.

For some European countries delivery can take between 10 days and 30 days from dispatch, occasionally more for very remote destinations.

International orders will take slightly longer depending on your world location.

Back Orders

In the rare event your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Tax Charges

Tea and Coffee is exempt from VAT. Certain sundries or equipment attract the standard rate of 20.0% VAT

Credit Card Security

When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site. Credit Card details may be sent separately by email, fax or phone. Customers wishing to pay by cheque can submit orders by post with cheques made payable to THE KENT TEA AND TRADING COMPANY. Goods dispatched on cheque clearance.
