Huge Selection of Coffee Beans from Around the World

Around 70 countries grow and produce Coffee. The plant originates from Africa, but has since spread around the world. The Kent and Sussex Tea and Coffee Company stock Coffees from not only Africa but also Asia, Central and South America, and the Caribbean. These particular Coffee-growing regions are the most popular when it comes to one's morning cuppa.

Coffee from Africa

Beans that have originated from the African continent, whether that be Ethiopia, Kenya or another country, are particularly popular among connoisseurs. High elevations and lush soils contribute significantly to the quality of these beans.

It's important to note, however, that Ethiopian Coffees, for example, will seldom taste the same as Kenyan or Rwandan Coffee. If you want to go down the traditional route, however, then choose a Coffee from Africa.

Coffee from Asia

In recent years, Coffees from Asia have improved significantly. Countries such as India and Indonesia, in particular, are leading the way to change. Since the mid-1990s, the Indian government has ceded control of the industry and returned it to the farmers.

This has given rise to a tremendous boost in both quality and sales. Indonesia, meanwhile, produces some of the tastiest beverages in the world. Be adventurous today with our selection of Asian Coffees.

Coffee from Caribbean

Some of the best and most famous Coffees in the world come from the Caribbean. Most famous of all is Jamaican Blue Mountain Coffee. This particular beverage is the product of near perfect climatic conditions.

High altitudes, attentive farmers and certification are just some of the factors that ensure its quality. Another choice-brew is Dominican Coffee, which we also stock here at The Kent and Sussex Tea and Coffee Company.

Coffee from Central America

Coffee grows in many countries across Central America. This includes Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua. Contrary to popular belief, Mexico is part of North America; however, the industry has long associated it with its Central American counterparts.

We stock brews from all of these countries, each one having unique and much sought after qualities. Central American Coffees continue to increase in popularity at a rapid rate.

Coffee from South America

When most think of Coffee, thoughts often drift to the vast valleys and majestic mountains of South America. This is with good reason. The continent boasts a multitude of extraordinary Coffee-growing regions.

Arguably most notable of all is Colombia, a country with an unparalleled reputation in the industry. Brazil, meanwhile, is the largest producer in the industry, accounting for approximately a third of the world's Coffee.
