Description
This is a rare Chinese Matcha from the Organic Tai Shan Tea Plantation in Zhejiang province. While Matcha is most famously associated with Japan, these delicious beverages first originated from China. This particular infusion is one such example. Better still, it's one of the best examples.
China Organic Haishan Matcha has a refined astringent taste with grassy undertones. It is a favourite among many connoisseurs. Furthermore, it is likewise popular among those who are health-conscious. Why? Because of Matcha Tea benefits.
When consumed as part of a healthy and active lifestyle, Matcha Tea benefits can aid with weight loss. How? Frequently drinking this Tea boosts the metabolism. This, in turn, enables the body to burn fat quicker and more efficiently.
Organic Matcha Tea
Matcha is a type of either Green Tea or White Tea. Producers first shade-grow the Tea plants used in its making. This, in turn, creates large quantities of amino acids and chlorophyll. The workers then pulverise the whole leaf into a fine powder.
Using the whole leaf as opposed to only parts of it has many benefits. Most notably, it ensures that one has 100% of the leaf's nutrients and antioxidants. In fact, the antioxidant strength of Matcha Tea is reportedly 137 times more than that of standard Green Tea!
Organic Tea - All You Need To Know
Want to join the fight for maintaining our environment? Make a start with our China Organic Haishan Matcha. This is because, as the name suggests, this particular Matcha is an Organic Tea. But what makes 'organic' so special?
Going with Organic Matcha Tea supports mother nature. It sustains not only the environmental state of the land used for Tea-growing, but also the areas surrounding estates. In turn, this helps to protect the local wildlife and maintains the health of workers.
Man-made pesticides and fertilisers, which often contain nitrogen, are slowly but surely damaging the arable land where Tea grows. And whatever is not absorbed by the plants and the soil often finds its way into waterways. This, in turn, creates massive nitrogen-fed "algal blooms" capable of starving bodies of water of vital oxygen while also suffocating fish and other aquatic life.
98% of sprayed insecticides reach a destination other than their target, often travelling by wind and heavy rain. Ultimately, the radius of damage is not just limited to the immediate area of production. Indeed, it can spread much further.
Organic Teas are certified by the regulatory body within the producing country and checked and certified again as they enter the European Union. The EU regulations on organic products are very robust and uniform across Europe. Each container is checked and sampled, and if a Tea fails inspection, the container is resealed and returned to its country of origin.
Why Choose China Organic Taishan Matcha Tea?
The bottom line is that our China Organic Haishan Matcha has many exceptional qualities well worth choosing. To start, it is a rare Chinese Matcha. It could also improve your everyday life thanks to its Matcha Tea benefits. But that's not all. What more could you want from your morning cuppa'?

Health Benefits of Matcha Tea
We've already established that this Tea reportedly has 137 times the antioxidant strength of 'regular' Green Tea. But what does this mean? Antioxidants combat free radicals in the body. These, in turn, are the product of natural, though harmful, human oxidation.
This oxidation can lead to many health-related complications such as type-2 diabetes and cardiovascular disease. However, antioxidants slow down the process of oxidation, thus reducing the risk of developing these types of chronic conditions.

I have not had matcha before so bought a small amount to try. Instruction says 1-2 teaspoons in a cup. I put one teaspoon in but it’s still too strong. Second time put a level teaspoon in and it’s better. Need to drink while it’s still hot. Taste changed when it’s left too long.
