Orange and Eucalyptus Rooibos Tea
We would recommend to brew using boiling water and leave to infuse for 5 to 10 minutes
Description
Taking the best their is to offer from both South Africa and Australia, we have created a delightfully refreshing and rich Orange and Eucalyptus Rooibos Tea. The combination of Australian eucalyptus leaves with South Africa’s Rooibos Tea creates a powerful menthol aroma with fruity notes of peach and orange.
This blend is perfect preparation for summer as you relax on a warm sunchair with a cup of this delectable brew by your side.
Rooibos Tea is a beverage brewed from the dried leaves of the Aspalathus Linearis plant. It is native to the Cederberg region of South Africa where it has been used for centuries by the Khoisans, the indigenous bushmen found there.
By the 18th century, Rooibos tea began to fade from knowledge as the Khoisan tribes were faced with the reality of European Colonisation. If it had not been for the plant’s rediscovery by botanist Carl Humberg, this renowned and delicious brew might have been forgotten to the ages! By 1904, a Russian immigrant with ties to tea manufacturing, Benjamin Ginsberg, began marketing the drink as an alternative to normal tea.
Soon, Rooibos was back in business and by the Second World War, this blend was especially relied upon as difficulty importing tea from Asian countries became widespread across the world.
