Darjeeling First Flush Rohini White Tea 2019
Brew with water at a temperature between 75 and 80 degrees and leave to infuse for 1 to 3 minutes
Description
This Darjeeling First Flush Rohini White Tea 2019, comes from the Darjeeling Rohini Tea Estate, the youngest Tea Estate of the district. It has a large leaf, greenish-white in appearance, with plenty of tip. When brewed, it produces a bright yellow liquor with notably grassy flavours and a slight hint of melon. It also contains an abundance of antioxidants, more so than any other type of Tea.
Research suggests that the antioxidants found in White Darjeeling Tea can combat free radicals in the body. This can ultimately reduce the risks of developing cardiovascular disease. It can also boost the metabolism of fat cells. This, in turn, enables the body to burn fat quicker and more efficiently, which contributes significantly to weight loss potential.
The Kent and Sussex Tea and Coffee Company are particularly proud to stock this Tea. Like most of our products, we pack it fresh to order here at our Pluckley-based factory. This is our way of guaranteeing not only quality but also consistency.
About the Rohini Tea Estate
Rohini finds itself in the Kurseong valley of Darjeeling district, West Bengal, India. It started producing Darjeeling Tea again in 2000 after 38 years of being closed. The gardens consist of 146 hectares of Tea-growing land. Most of the plants used are of the Chinese Camellia sinensis var sinensis variety. Planting took place in 1996 in preparation for the grand reopening.
Over the last two decades, Rohini has rightfully acquired an excellent reputation for quality Tea. Our Darjeeling Rohini White Tea is, of course, no exception. In fact, this particular beverage goes above and beyond to inspire all those who drink it.
The outstanding care provided to all Tea plants across the estate, combined with the efficiency of the newly-established factory, make all Rohini Teas the 'must-have' this season. Start right here with our Darjeeling Rohini.
