No, with this Flavoured Coffee, it means enjoying smooth, rich, chocolatey flavours without having to feel bad about it.

It means being able to indulge at little cost to your waistline. In reality, our Chocolate Mocha Flavoured Coffee is an excellent alternative to your favourite dessert treat as it contains far less sugar and fat. So, stop feeling guilty and brew up! All of our Coffees are roasted using the latest state-of-the-art Neuhaus Neotec fluidised air-bed system, which primarily uses convection heat transfer to roast the beans. Ultimately, this ensures not only quality but also consistency. Furthermore, Chocolate Mocha Flavoured Coffee has great taste on its side!

There are an estimated 800 different compounds found in Coffee. These compounds contribute to the oils, minerals, salts, organic acids, sugars, and perhaps most importantly, the flavours of Coffee. However, Coffee is an accommodating beverage. It suits a variety of additional flavours, including, of course, chocolate; such is the case with our Chocolate Flavoured Coffee. Some of our other popular Flavoured Coffees include Hazelnut Flavoured Coffee, Vanilla Flavoured Coffee, Brandy Flavoured Coffee and Amaretto Flavoured Coffee. And this is to name but a few.

Some traditionalists consider Flavoured Coffees inadequate in taste, sometimes going as far as to dub them “false Coffees”, which is why The Kent and Sussex Tea and Coffee Company are proud not to use any “fake” flavour syrups. Instead, we infuse natural flavouring to the beans, thus creating a more natural-tasting cup of Coffee. We want nothing but the best for our customers, after all.

Chocolate Mocha is a medium-roasted Coffee. But what is the significance of roasting? What does it achieve? Roasting Coffee Beans brings out the aroma and flavour locked inside. Before the roasting takes place, Green Coffee Beans bare little resemblance to their roasted counterparts, with none of the characteristics of a roasted bean. Instead, Green Coffee Beans are soft and spongy when bitten, and smell grassy.

Coffee beans pop, crack and expand when subjected to heats between 350 °F – 400 °F, a phenomenon known as the “first crack”. As a rule of thumb, lighter roasts are seldom roasted beyond the first crack, while medium-roasted Coffees, including Chocolate Mocha Flavoured Coffee, are produced following the first crack but just before the “second crack” at heats from 410 °F - 430 °F. Dark-roasted Coffees, meanwhile, are subjected to heats from 465°F – 485°F, which coincides with the end of the second crack, sometimes beyond.
