But while all coffee in Central America certainly doesn’t taste the same, different coffees from different Central American countries may have more similarities than when compared with those from, say, Kenya or Indonesia.
And on that basis, and very much broadly speaking, Central American coffees are often medium-bodied coffees, the flavours of which are reminiscent of cocoa, nuts and spice. These are well-balanced brews; not too bitter, and not too acidic with fairly smooth flavours.
