About the Darjeeling Rohini Tea Estate
Rohini is a relatively new estate, which first opened in 1968 before closing for 38 years. Production commenced again in 2000, whereby this garden rightfully regained its outstanding reputation.
Today, Rohini spans across 146 hectares and, after mass-planting in 1996 in preparation for reopening, grows Camellia sinensis plants of Chinese origin.
Over the last two decades, it has showcased some of the best Darjeeling Teas of the Kurseong Valley. This, of course, includes our very own Darjeeling 1st Flush Rohini, which goes above and beyond to impress casual drinkers and connoisseurs alike.
