Organic Darjeeling Tea Risheehat is an Indian Estate Black Tea produced high up in the Himalayas. It comes from the region’s Mid Season Flush, which means it’s usually harvested between June and July.
The result is, put simply, exquisite, going above and beyond to impress all those who choose it.
When brewed, this Darjeeling Tea has a rich, smooth, nutty flavour quite different to that of First Flushes. It consists of a good, even-sized leaf with a bright liquor – a brightness that indeed transcends in your cup with every sip.
Perhaps most important of all, we pack it fresh to order here at our Kent-based factory, ensuring quality and consistency, time and time again.
About The Risheehat Darjeeling Tea Estate
Risheehat lies in a beautiful valley with steep topography, fertile soil, moderate temperatures and abundant rainfall. These conditions make for excellent Tea-growing – as our Organic Darjeeling Tea Risheehat stands testament.
The garden is only some eight miles from the town of Darjeeling, its name meaning “Home of Holy Saints.” British planters founded it in the 19th century.
Two major divisions make up Risheehat, which together produce more than 180 tonnes of Tea every year. It has Fair Trade certification, as well as numerous organic certificates, which, to many, makes it an ethical choice when looking for your morning cuppa.
All this and much more is waiting to be discovered when you buy Organic Darjeeling Tea Risheehat today.
