Description

Assam 2nd Flush Tea Borengajuli FBOP is an Indian Black Tea from the Borengajuli Tea Estate. The grade, FBOP, stands for “Flowery Broken Orange Pekoe,” which is where workers break the leaves into smaller pieces.

The result is a stronger flavour with deep malty notes. It makes for an excellent warming cuppa in the winter or as a cooling Iced Tea in the summer. The choice is yours.

When it comes to caffeine content, you can expect around 45-mg per 8-oz cup. When it comes to potential health benefits, you might experience improved heart health, reduced diabetes risks and even boosted metabolism - thus promoting weight loss.

Perhaps most essential is the fact we pack this Loose Tea, like every other Tea, fresh to order here at our Kent-based factory.

Borengajuli Tea Estate

Borengajuli has long held an almost unparalleled reputation in the world of Assam Tea. It finds itself near the banks of the mighty Brahmaputra river within clear eyeshot of the Himalayas, qualities of which play a role in the Tea it produces.

Indeed, it is not simply its picturesque surroundings, including stunning colonial-era bungalows, that endear; rather, the character of our Assam 2nd Flush Tea Borengajuli FBOP.

Why Choose Second Flush Assam Tea?

You might think that drinking First Flush Tea instead of Second Flush would be the better choice. It could be the case - if you decided on Darjeeling Tea. If you instead have Assam Tea, it is the second flush that is first-rate.

Harvesting takes place between mid-May and June, by which time the leaves have had time to mature. This ultimately creates a full-bodied infusion well-suited to those who like a hearty brew.

How to Brew Assam 2nd Flush Tea Borengajuli FBOP

1, Add Loose Leaf Tea to a Tea Filter or Infuser.

2,Place the item in a mug or cup.

3,Boil water and pour it over the leaves.

4, Allow it to steep for 3 to 5 minutes.

How to Serve: Milk, sugar, honey or lemon - the choice is yours. Alternatively, serve black.
