Uchiyama Sencha Green Tea is a beautifully manufactured Leaf Tea from the Tenyru district of Shizuoka Prefecture of Japan. An area steeped in the history of growing Tea. This production is organic and uses the best quality leaves from the bushes – Two Leaves and a Bud. Harvested in the early spring as the loose leaves first unfurl after the winter months, once picked the leaves are steamed to stop the process of natural oxidisation. The Leaves are a Dark Vibrant Olive Green in Colour. A very fresh tasting tea with a lovely smooth character.
